Moving out of laboratories

Moving out from laboratories need to be carefully planned before the move.

Head of department is responsible so that the moving is made in a correct and secure manner. Risk assess all steps. In cases where the personnel from the laboratories are doing the cleaning and sanitation, it is important to ensure that the right type of personal protective equipment is used in the handling of e.g. chemicals or biological materials, contaminated materials, instruments and surfaces. Cleaning and sanitation can also be ordered from Uppsala university's procured sanitation firm.
