External scholarship opportunities
Along with scholarships awarded by Uppsala University, it may be possible for fee-paying prospective international students to apply for financial assistance from external organisations.
External scholarships have different application systems, deadlines and criteria than those awarded by Uppsala University. They are not managed by Uppsala University.

Rotary World Peace Fellowship
The Rotary World Peace Fellowship is open for students applying to the Master's Programme in Peace and Conflict Studies.

SI Scholarship for Global Professionals
The Swedish Institute (SI), a government agency, has a number of scholarships open for students from countries outside the EU/EEA area. Depending on your nationality and field of study, the scholarships may apply to you. The SI scholarships cover both tuition fee and living expenses to the amount of 12,000 SEK per month for studies at master's level. A travel grant is also issued to the recipient. Please note that you must have submitted an application for a master's programme in Sweden at universityadmissions.se before applying for the SI Scholarship.
