FAIR - förberedelser för in-kind bidrag

The FAIR facility to be constructed in Darmstadt, Germany, attracts the majority of the Swedish research groups active in Nuclear and Hadron Physics as well as a sizeable part of the Atomic and Accelerator Physics communities. The Swedish participation in FAIR is envisaged to be financed partially through in-kind contributions of detector and accelerator systems. The Swedish FAIR consortium, SFAIR, has identified a number of suitable systems to be developed and/or constructed totally or partially by Swedish groups. These systems are not only crucial for the successful completion of the FAIR facility but they will also strengthen the position of the Swedish groups at FAIR.This application concerns resources to finalize the work towards these Swedish in-kind contributions towards FAIR.
