Elektronkorrelationer och oelastisk spridning under icke-jämvikt i lågdimensionella system

We will develop a space and time-dependent Green function formalism that can be used to address questions concerning correlation and scattering effects on a nanoscale in modern materials. As most measurements create local non-equilibrium conditions for the sample, we will include the non-equilibrium perspective throughout our investigations and development. The overall purpose and aims of the project proposal is to develop theory, methods, and understanding of the interplay between electronic correlations and inelastic scattering, effects of dimensionality, dependence of spatial separation, and non-equilibrium conditions. The proposed development is of great importance for studies of interactions and structure of modern materials e.g. graphene, topological insulators, strong Rashba materials, hidden order materials, and high-Tc superconductors. Nanoscale inhomogeneities will be studied by the response to local impurities.
