Information Systems

Education in information systems is for those who are interested in how digital technology can support individuals in working life and everyday life. By analysing the emergence of technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT and cloud services, it examines how these are driving disruptive changes in various sectors. We also study the cultural and organisational changes required to effectively navigate the digital era. By integrating insights from areas such as design, agile methods and data analysis, strategies are explored to promote innovation, increase competitiveness and meet the challenges of the future, including globalisation and sustainable development. The importance of ethical considerations in a digitalised world, including privacy, security and societal impact are emphasised.

Information systems prepares you to drive future digitisation projects in collaboration with various actors. Collecting, analysing and processing information forms an important basis for all system development. You will also gain an understanding of programming with modern programming languages. In addition, you will learn to design databases, often integrated into complex digital infrastructures.

Courses in information systems can be part of a Bachelor's degree. Information systems offers independent courses A-C up to 90 credits with progression.
