Filing a claim

- pay the hospital bill yourself and send in the receipt to Kammarkollegiet with the filled in claim form, or

Exchange students need to submit their claim form to their contact person at Uppsala University. If your contact person is located within a department make contact with them directly. Exchange students with a contact person in the Unit for International Mobility need to submit the claim form along with original receipts, if applicable, to the Service Centre in Uppsala (Segerstedt Building, Dag Hammarskjölds väg 7) or per e-mail to mobility@uu.se. The claim form should then be signed by the Unit for International Mobility and forwarded by regular mail to Kammarkollegiet.

Additional medical or dental insurance you might need to arrange privately

If you have a pre-existing medical condition or in other ways deem the insurance insufficient for your personal needs after having read the Student IN insurance's terms and conditions, we strongly recommend that you take out a private health insurance.
