National Infrastructure for Microscopy (NMI)

The National Infrastructure for Microscopy (NMI) within life sciences is a national research infrastructure offering leading-edge equipment and expertise in advanced microscopy and imaging analysis in the life sciences. NMI is Sweden’s node in the international research infrastructure Euro-BioImaging.

The KTH Royal Institute of Technology hosts NMI. Other participating universities are Uppsala University, University of Gothenburg, Stockholm University and Umeå University. NMI is Sweden’s node in the international research infrastructure Euro-Bioimagine.

The Council for Research Infrastructures (RFI) funds this research infrastructure, which the Swedish Research Council considers to be in the national interest.
