InfraVis – infrastructure for data visualisation

InfraVis is a national research infrastructure for data visualisation. Visualisation can be defined as computer-aided interaction with visual representation of data. This provides researchers with effective tools for analysing patterns, causal relationships and other complex relationships in large data sets, and improves communication of theories and results. InfraVis offers visualisation expertise as support to other researchers.

Chalmers University of Technology serves as the host of InfraVis, and the other partner universities are Uppsala University, Lund University, Linköping University, Royal Institute of Technology, University of Gothenburg, Umeå University, Mid Sweden University and Linnaeus University.
