Research infrastructure for Democracy, Environment, Migration, Social policy, Conflict, and Representation (DEMSCORE)

Research infrastructure for Democracy, Environment, Migration, Social Policy, Conflict and Representation (DEMSCORE) is a national research infrastructure under development that aims to address research needs of different types of social sciences context data. The research infrastructure includes several large and well-known social sciences databases that involve large synergies and increase opportunities for research on complex societal relationships in such fields as politics, opinion, economics, world conflicts, climate and environment, social conditions and migration.

The University of Gothenburg hosts DEMSCORE and the other participating universities are Uppsala University, Stockholm University and Umeå University.

The Council for Research Infrastructures (RFI) funds this research infrastructure, which the Swedish Research Council considers to be in the national interest.
