Atomic Resolution TEM Infrastructure network of Sweden (ARTEMI)

ARTEMI (Atomic Resolution TEM Infrastructure network of Sweden) is an infrastructure consisting of the most prominent Swedish research nodes for transmission electron microscopy in the materials sciences. ARTEMI enables the development of modern electron microscopy methods and provides access to advanced instruments for training, analysis and post-processing of data, supported by expert users. Users from all fields of materials science use ARTEMI’s cutting-edge technologies and methods in high-resolution microscopy, spectroscopy, time-resolved measurements, in-situ and electron diffraction methods down to subatomic resolution.

Linköping University serves as the host of ARTEMI, and the other partner universities are Uppsala University, the Royal Institute of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology, Lund University and Stockholm University.

This research infrastructure is deemed to be of national interest by the Swedish Research Council, and receives funding from the Council for Research Infrastructures (RFI).
