ISIS Neutron and Muon Source

The ISIS Neutron and Muon Source is an international neutron scattering facility for research in such fields as earth sciences, materials science, chemistry and biology. Sweden has been a member since 2015 and participates in two of the facility’s instrument development projects: the diffractometers Polaris and HRPD.

The Council for Research Infrastructures (RFI) funds this research infrastructure, which the Swedish Research Council considers to be in the national interest.
