Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA-ERIC)

The Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA-ERIC) is an association of 20 European social science data archives and a distributed infrastructure for social science data. Through CESSDA-ERIC, researchers may access data from European countries, and through the organisation’s participation in global data collaboration, Swedish researchers also gain access to data from a large number of non-European countries. Sweden has been a member of CESSDA since 1981 through the Swedish National Data Service (SND), which is Sweden’s contributor to CESSDA-ERIC.

The Council for Research Infrastructures (RFI) funds this research infrastructure, which the Swedish Research Council considers to be in the national interest.
