Diamanthalvledare för förnybar elektrisk havsbaserad energiomvandling

Through comparison between ab initio simulations and carrier transport measurements on diamond samples the understanding of charge transport, doping and trapping mechanisms in diamond will be improved. This knwowledge will be used in the development of power devices in diamond. The vision is to use diamond diodes and field effect transistors in convertes used in distributed electric systems and distributed electrical generation and thereby reduce the elctrica losses.
