About the course
This workshop is aimed at those working with large amounts of image material such as scanned manuscripts, photographs, letters, illustrations, and so on, and who need a tool to keep order, annotate and link metadata to the images, e.g. archive information. During this workshop, we will demonstrate the digital tool Tropy. Feel free to bring material from your own research to test the tool on!
After attending this course you will have learned to:
- Upload your image material
- Organise the material into "projects"
- Create metadata at "project" level and at image level
- Annotate and transcribe
- Search and organise
- How to back up and export the material
